Terme di Chianciano: populating the Electronic Health Record

The project to develop the Electronic Health Record.

Terme di Chianciano has launched a dedicated project to the Electronic Health Record (EHR), funded by the Region of Tuscany as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). The project forms part of the wider effort to strengthen the digital infrastructure of the healthcare scenario, with the aim of contributing to the achievement of the national and European targets set for the ESF.

The project and its objectives

The project involves the inclusion in the Electronic Health Record of reports relating to healthcare services, specialist diagnostics and radiology. The integration of data into the EHR is a key component of the healthcare system’s digitalisation programme, aimed at improving the availability of health information through dedicated digital tools. In this context, the project carried out by Terme di Chianciano contributes to targets set at national and European level for the development of the dossier.

Funding under the PNRR

The project forms part of the Mission 6 – Health, Component 2, sub-investment 1.3.1, aimed at strengthening the technological infrastructure of the Electronic Health Record and the tools for data collection, processing, analysis and simulation. The project is funded by the Region of Tuscany as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, with resources of the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

The publication of this information fulfils the disclosure and publicity requirements laid down Article 34 of Regulation (EU) 2021/241, relating to the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
