Nature, your mat. The park, your yoga room

There is something deeply ancient about practising yoga outdoors. Before gyms, parquet floors and white ceilings, there was the earth, the grass, the sound of trees. And it is exactly there that the practice becomes what it was: an encounter with oneself, amplified by everything around us.

We are happy to announce that from June yoga comes to the Acqua Santa Parka place where water, greenery and thermal air create a space naturally predisposed to wellness, healing and silence.

Why doing yoga in a nature park really makes a difference

It's not just about aesthetics. Practising outdoors, surrounded by nature, changes something deep inside.

Breath changes. Open, clean, humid, oxygenated air is not the same as the conditioned air of a closed room. Each inhalation is already, in itself, a medicine.

The senses awaken. Birdsong, light filtering through the leaves, the contact of the feet with the grass: nature activates the parasympathetic nervous system, the one that governs rest and regeneration. The body understands, even before the mind, that it can let go.

The practice takes root. Doing yoga in contact with the earth literally changes the quality of concentration. The ground is not a neutral floor: it is something living, responding, stabilising. The postures become more stable, the breath deeper and the presence more authentic.

The boundary between outside and inside dissolves. One of the great aims of yoga is to break down the separation between us and the world. In a park, this union is not metaphorical: it is real, immediate, tangible.

The Acqua Santa Park, with its thermal energy, tranquillity and beauty, is one of those rare places where nature and wellness come together naturally. Bringing yoga here is not a scenic gimmick - it is a deliberate choice, in line with everything this place stands for. Courses will take place in June, July, August and September even in the event of bad weather.

Courses

Wednesday | 9:00 - 10:15 Yin Yoga

A Yin Yoga class is an invitation to slow down, breathe and find space within oneself. Through long-held postures and gentle movements, the body is relaxed in depth, releasing physical and emotional tensions.

It is a slow but intense practice that improves flexibility, joint mobility and breath quality, while promoting mental calm and energy rebalancing.

Perfect for those who live hectic days, practice intense sports or feel the need to treat themselves to an authentic moment of listening and regeneration.

During the lesson:

  • deep, relaxing postures
  • conscious breathing
  • release of tensions
  • meditation and presence

A space in which to let go of control and regain balance, lightness and well-being.

Friday | 19:00 - 20:15 Yin & Face Yoga

A wellness ritual for body, mind and face.

An experience designed to slow down, regenerate the body and relax the face, restoring balance and natural radiance.

The practice combines the depth of Yin Yoga, with long-held postures and conscious breathing, with Face Yoga exercises to relax facial tension, tone facial muscles and promote a more relaxed and radiant appearance.

During the lesson we will work on:

  • release of physical and emotional tensions
  • mobility and deep flexibility
  • breathing and relaxation
  • Natural facial toning using the Japanese Tanaka massage technique
  • glow, presence and inner well-being

A time to reconnect with yourself, let go of the stress of the week and start the weekend with new energy.

Every Friday of June, August and September, wellness becomes a complete experience with the exclusive Sensory & Yin Yoga package:

3-hour entrance to the Sensory Spa + Yin & Face Yoga class € 55

An afternoon all to yourself: whirlpools, the park, the sunset, and practice in nature. A ritual that the body will remember.

Only available on Fridays | Limited places

What to bring:

Comfortable clothing. Mats and bricks will be provided by the organisation. A sweatshirt or jumper is useful.
