Terme di Chianciano are located within the municipality of Chianciano Terme, in the province of Siena, between Valdichiana and Val d'Orcia.

A historical and articulated spa complex, which grew up around natural springs with recognised therapeutic properties and is now organised into several facilities dedicated to health, wellness and prevention.

Thermal pools, sensory paths, historical parks, thermal treatment facilities and a specialised medical centre coexist in a single system, designed to meet different needs: from daily relaxation to treatment programmes, from prevention to exercise.

 

Terme di Chianciano is an integrated spa complex which brings together, within the municipality of Chianciano Terme, facilities dedicated to wellness, health and prevention.

The system includes Piscine Termali Theia, Terme Sensoriali, Acqua Santa Park, I Sillene plant for spa treatments, the Medical Centre and Palestra della Salute, in a path combining spa tradition, health approach and active lifestyle.

Terme di Chianciano is a integrated spa complex which includes: Piscine Termali Theia, Terme Sensoriali, Acqua Santa Park, Terme Sillene for thermal cures, Medical Centre and Palestra della Salute. Each facility has different functions and access modes.

At Terme di Chianciano it is possible to carry out thermal cures affiliated with the National Health Service, with a family doctor's prescription.

Convention treatments include:

  • Hydropinic care with Acqua Santa, indicated for digestive and hepatic disorders

  • Liver and arthro-rheumatic baths and mud baths, carried out at Terme Sillene

  • Therapeutic baths for vascular pathologies, particularly for the sequelae of chronic phlebopathies of the lower limbs

  • Inhalation treatments, also at Terme Sillene

Completing the healthcare offer is a Physiotherapy Centre, a Specialist outpatient clinic, services of Sports Medicine, MOC e Laboratory Analysis, with dedicated routes and specific timetables.

Yes. Piscine Termali Theia offer the Baths by Night (Theia by Night), with evening openings until midnight on selected dates.

No. At the moment Terme di Chianciano does not have in-house accommodation.
However, it is possible to stay in hotels in the municipality of Chianciano Terme and choose holiday + spa packages realised in partnership with selected hotels, which can be found on the dedicated page.

Yes, in different ways:

  • Piscine Termali Theia: access permitted for children accompanied by an adult. Children's entertainment activities are provided at certain times of the day.

  • Terme Sensoriali: access permitted from 14 years

Terme di Chianciano Medical Centre is a health facility dedicated to diagnostics, prevention, physiotherapy, rehabilitation and specialist visits, supplemented with thermal cures.
Some services are affiliated with the National Health Service and follow dedicated routes and timetables.

Palestra della Salute is a full-fledged gymnasium, part of the thermal complex and dedicated to exercise, wellness and prevention.

From the Autostrada del Sole (A1) motorway, direction Milan, for those coming from the SOUTH, or Rome, for those coming from the NORTH, exit at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme. Chianciano Terme is about 9 km from the motorway exit.

The railway station is Chiusi-Chianciano Terme, on the Florence-Rome route. Chianciano Terme is about 17km from the railway station: there is a regular bus service between the station and Terme di Chianciano, as well as a taxi service (20-minute ride).
